The Army is recruiting. If you want a career that offers challenge and adventure, then a career in the Army could be right for you. To find out more about Army life search Armyjobs.

The Army views Equality and Diversity as critical components in the generation and maintenance of Operational Effectiveness, and not for reasons of political correctness. It values the inherent qualities in every individual, respects their differences, and enables them to make the selfless commitment that the Army demands in the knowledge that they will be treated fairly. The salary is competitive and you’ll get paid from the moment you start your training. With over 200 different roles, there’s a huge range of careers to choose from, including catering, logistics and engineering, medicine, Law, IT and many more.

The Army offers you huge job variety and encourages you to develop, both personally and professionally. You will be taught essential skills and will build on your self-confidence; you can even gain civilian recognised qualifications which will stand you in excellent stead for any future civilian career.

You could travel the world, providing vital support to both humanitarian missions and combat operations. You’ll enjoy new challenges and find new ways to push yourself and achieve – all with the Army’s first class training.

Your accommodation is subsidised plus you get free medical and dental care, 30 days’ annual leave alongside public holidays and an excellent pension. You’ll be encouraged to play your favourite sports as well as taking part in adventurous training, plus you will be provided with the facilities and guidance to build and maintain your physical fitness.

As well as full-time positions, you could join the Reserve Army in your spare time and bring skills and experience from your civilian career or education with you, while also developing new ones. You’ll be paid for the time you spend in the Reserve Army, and enjoy the benefits too.
